Access Policy

The Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Law Library is open to current students, staff, and alumni of the law school.

Alumni

Free access to the library is available to all Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ graduates. Haub Law graduates also may bring an associate or research assistance with them when they visit. Alumni are not allowed to use the study rooms, which are reserved for current Haub law students only. There are four public access computers available for alumni; other computers are restricted to Haub law student use. Access to the library does not include borrowing privileges or use of Westlaw and Lexis. Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Wi-Fi is restricted to current students only; alumni should contact the Office of Alumni Relations for assistance with getting Wi-Fi access.

Haub Law alumni may obtain an Alumni ID Card by going to the Registrar/Bursar on the first floor of Aloysia Hall. Please call their office at (914) 422-4214 to confirm opening times. Alumni of the University will need to first register with the Office of Alumni Relations to get access to the campus. Before coming to campus, alumni should call the Circulation Desk so that their name can be given to security. Once on campus, alumni can call the Circulation Desk to be let into the building, as all buildings require an ID for access.

Public Access

Anyone who is not a current Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ affiliate and wishes to use materials may only access the library by paying a daily fee of $25 by check. Anyone who is interested in visiting the library must first schedule a visit by contacting the Reference Department (reference@law.pace.edu) a minimum of 48 hours in advance. You must include your name and contact information, the requested date of visit, and the materials that you are seeking to use. Access is only provided Monday–Friday during regular reference hours. Access will not be provided on weekends or during exams. Access is only sold for the use of materials; it will not be sold for convenient study purposes. Daily access does not include access to Lexis or Westlaw. Additionally, the library no longer has current print versions of McKinney's, the NYCRR, and case reporters.
