As Â鶹ֱ²¥ marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, we invite students, faculty, staff, and alumni to come together across our campuses to remember those we lost, reflect on the impact of that day, and honor the resilience of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Community.
This special tribute honors the extraordinary life, career, and enduring legacy of Dean Emeritus Richard L. Ottinger (1929–2026): environmental pioneer, dedicated public servant, leading scholar, and beloved teacher whose influence shaped the Law School and helped define modern environmental law. The tribute is a fitting way to kick off a year celebrating the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Â鶹ֱ²¥â€™s 50th Anniversary.
