More than 200 people turned out for the event, which was the first in-person premiere for the program since 2019, before the pandemic. The film continues a distinguished tradition of producing documentaries that shine a light on important environmental issues.

Alexis Sandler, an attorney with two decades of experience handling complex and diverse legal matters for a broad range of clients, including in the arts and entertainment and non-profit fields, has been named vice president and general counsel for �鶹ֱ��.

�鶹ֱ�� will host, “At a Point of Change,” an outdoor student photography exhibition, which will line the fence on Frankfort Street outside One �鶹ֱ�� Plaza in Lower Manhattan. The exhibit is open to the public and will run for two months, beginning May 9, 2022.

Three executives with an array of business experience in healthcare, finance, and law have joined �鶹ֱ��’s Board of Trustees, the University today announced. The new trustees are Michael DiSimone, president, and CEO of PayFlex; Audrey Murphy, executive vice president and chief legal officer of Hackensack Meridian Health; and Zubeen Shroff, managing director of Galen Partners.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹ֱ�� is pleased to announce that U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng will deliver the law school’s commencement address and receive a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa at its 2022 Commencement, to be held on May 16, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. This is the first year that the law school will join �鶹ֱ�� for a university-wide commencement celebration of all �鶹ֱ�� graduates. The ceremony will also include recognition of the Classes of 2020 and 2021, who were not able to have a traditional celebration due to pandemic-related restrictions.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹ֱ�� awarded Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark and the Bronx District Attorney’s Office with the 2022 Robert S. Tucker Prize for Prosecutorial Excellence at an award ceremony held at the law school on Tuesday, April 26. The event brought together District Attorneys and Assistant District Attorneys from across the region and state, civic leaders, members of the judiciary, and the Haub Law community to recognize the outstanding contributions of the Bronx District Attorney’s Office in the field of criminal prosecution and excellence in prosecutorial practice.

On Earth Day, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹ֱ��’s Energy and Climate Center and its partner the Westchester County Association (WCA), were honored for their work developing a Clean Energy Program Portal at the 3^rd annual Westchester County ECO Awards. The awards ceremony was hosted by Westchester County Executive George Latimer and Westchester County’s Department of Environmental Facilities at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle to recognize outstanding contributions to the environment and sustainability made by residents, students, schools, municipalities, businesses, and other organizations throughout the county.

�鶹ֱ�� to hold the largest Commencement ceremony in University’s history to celebrate classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022. This is �鶹ֱ��'s first in-person Commencement in three years, to be held on May 16, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
