The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹ֱ�� once again co-hosted the New Directions in Environmental Law (NDEL) Conference, held February 7, 2026, at Yale Law School. This year’s conference, themed “Collective Reimagining: Channeling Conviction into Change,” brought together scholars, practitioners, and students to explore emerging challenges and innovative approaches in environmental law.

�鶹ֱ��’s Sands College of Performing Arts faculty members Eric Price, Phillip Christian Smith, and Adam J. Rineer have earned major national recognition in musical theatre writing, with Price and Smith named 2026 Kleban Prize winners and Rineer selected as a 2026 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient.

�鶹ֱ�� today celebrated the ribbon cutting and official inauguration of the Gale Epstein Center for Technology, Policy and the Environment at the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, marking a significant expansion of the University’s leadership in environmental technology and policy innovation.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹ֱ�� proudly hosted the 38th Annual Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (NELMCC), one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious interschool moot court competitions devoted to environmental law.

New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins awarded �鶹ֱ�� $2.175 million in funding to support capital improvements and technology upgrades at its Center of Excellence in Healthcare Simulation in Pleasantville.

�鶹ֱ�� will host its Spring 2026 Actionable AI Conference on Friday, March 13, at its Lower Manhattan campus, convening executives and technology leaders focused on practical AI implementation.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹ֱ�� is proud to announce that Erin Gleason Alvarez, Director of the Law School’s Mediation Practicum and the Amelia A. Gould Representation in Mediation Clinic and Adjunct Professor, has been awarded the Outstanding Professional Article Award by the CPR Institute – International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.
