Alumni gathered for the 2025 Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Â鶹ֱ²¥ Alumni Reunion held at Sam’s of Gedney Way in White Plains. All alumni classes were invited to this special event with members from the classes of 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020 celebrating milestone reunions. The Class of 2025 was also recognized at their first official alumni event.
As a law student, Haley Brescia ’21 took full advantage of the opportunities available at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law, including her early work as a Land Use Law Scholar and her leadership roles as President of the Environmental Law Society and Editor-in-Chief of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Environmental Law Review.
For Joe Ruhl '90, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law was where a lifelong dream of becoming an attorney became reality. More than three decades later, his daughter, Sophie, is beginning her own legal journey at the very same institution.
Judge Malaika N. Scott-McLaughlin ’09, a Civil Court Judge for the City of New York, was no stranger to the legal world growing up. As the daughter of Professor Randolph McLaughlin, a renowned civil rights attorney and longtime member of the faculty at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Â鶹ֱ²¥, she spent a lot of time observing him in the classroom teaching and in practice advocating.
