Remembering 9/11
As Â鶹ֱ²¥ marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, we invite students, faculty, staff, and alumni to come together across our campuses to remember those we lost, reflect on the impact of that day, and honor the resilience of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Community.
Haub Law Campus
8:40 a.m.
Preston Quad Memorial
The Haub Law community will gather at the Quad memorial honoring members of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ community who died on September 11. Moments of silence will be observed at 8:46 a.m., when the first plane struck the North Tower, and 9:03 a.m., when the second plane struck the South Tower. Each year, American flags are also placed at the memorial and at the memorial for Lance Corporal Michael Glover, a Haub Law student who later gave his life in Iraq.
Pleasantville Campus
7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Butcher Suite, Kessel Student Center
Join members of the Pleasantville Campus community for an evening of remembrance and reflection hosted by Alpha Phi Delta in recognition of the 25th anniversary of September 11.
New York City Campus
12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m.
Student Center, One Â鶹ֱ²¥ Plaza
Hosted by Veteran Services, the program will include opening remarks and a naming ceremony led by the Student Veterans Association, followed by a moment of silence honoring the lives lost and the enduring legacy of September 11.
