Lubin CSB Guest Speaker: Micki Weiner
Why don't more sustainable products sell, and what does it really cost to build a responsible brand? The Center for Sustainable Business and Responsible Innovation at the Lubin School of Business invites students and faculty to a guest talk by Micki Weiner, Founder and Creative Director of Petal + Ash, a circular fashion brand.
Drawing on her experience as a founder and as a sustainability advisor to consumer brands, Micki will discuss what responsible sourcing really costs, the price gap with conventional supply chains, building a brand without investor capital, and the business case for circularity. Micki holds an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
Open to all Â鶹ֱ²¥ students interested in sustainability, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship.
